For that special curve in your collar over a classy tie or unbuttoned collar appearing through a V-neck sweater, why not use Stayclip collar stays. Stayclip’s brushed or polished titanium, stainless steel, or 24k gold collar stays will put your shirt collars in the best position possible and maintain a steady appearance all day long.

It’s important that men have easy access to collar stays. The Stayclip organizer keeps them close at hand. Much like the concept of a tie rack, the idea of locating dress shirt accessories near collared dress shirts is a natural solution to avoid burying items in drawers or clunky boxes. “When a man gets dressed in the morning and looks for a tie and shirt to wear, the last thing he wants to do is pour collar stays out of a bowl or dig in his dresser drawer for them,” says Jason Bier, President of BG & Sons. “Men want a simple solution to save time and remind them that collar stays need to be put in their shirt or removed for cleaning. Stayclip is the natural solution to the problem – one that continues to take time away from a man’s busy day.”

My many years of working along dress shirt makers, both bespoke and mass merchants, has given me a unique viewpoint of what defines a nice dress shirt. As a connoisseur of collar stays it’s only natural that I interact with dress shirt manufacturers. It’s been a quite remarkable experience working with the finest dress shirt brands in the world like Ike Behar, Craig Robinson, and Henry Grethel.

These designers all have their special style, but one similar trait is their passion for the dress shirt. It’s from this love for their work that everything comes together. The dress shirt material, cut, and craftsmanship with designers like this is truly unique. The collars, buttons, and cuffs are so rich and well-tailored you almost can’t put the shirt down when you pick one up.

Dress shirts are essential to a man’s wardrobe. Dress codes may change at work, but the dress shirt has always been a staple item, to be dressed up with a suit or down with jeans. The collars are a very important part if the dress shirt – a long collar might suggest sophistication while a short collar may suggest simplicity…and that point of view may differ depending on who you talk to. I love that about the dress shirt.

If there is one thing that I can say that is remarkable about the dress shirt over my past eight years of working in the industry with the Stayclip is that marketers know who appreciates them and that collar stays are a critical accessory. Collar stays have been a very good tool in providing designers like Ike Behar with a unique branding item like the Stayclip. It’s a joy to work with marketers and designers that appreciate the extraordinary interest men are having with collar stays and how they are used and maintained.

I plan to write more blogs on different designers that I see and point out the good qualities that each has so other men (and women) can learn what I have experienced (and continue to experience) as the Stayclip meets other dress shirt designers. There just isn’t enough told about those in the industry that provide such an important staple item for men.

Did you know that Stayclip collar stays can form a curve over a tie or enhance the open collar dress shirt? Yes, the metal collar stays made from titanium, stainless steel, or gold-plated brass have this capability. “It’s certainly a simple way to manage your collar,” says Jason Bier, who owns the Stayclip brand. “We have had lots of our clients say great things about these collar stays and their ability to manage the collar’s appearance.”

The key to getting the bend right is to slide the Stayclip collar stays inside the pockets of your dress shirt and when the shirt is on just give each collar a bend with the collar stays inside the pockets. You can adjust while looking in the mirror to achieve that perfect look! Stayclip was the first company back in 2004 to conceptualize the use of metal collar stays to form the collar. It’s a pretty neat innovation – one that you should definitely try out.

One thing is for certain: Men love accessories. Another certainty: Men don’t have enough accessories. Yes, the typical wallet, cufflinks, and occasional pen send a message that men enjoy the finer things in life and relish a nice accessory. But today men have often been left out of any accessory boom.

Stayclip has shown that if you provide men with the right tools they will aggressively accept a new innovation. If that innovation happens to be by utilizing a new accessory – well, then that’s even better.

So for the women out there looking for a solid gift (and investment) in your man’s appearance then there is no better item to get him than the Stayclip. You can customize these collar stays with monograms or private messages like “First Kiss 10/4/1998″. Collar stays have become a romantic and sentimental way to remind your loved one how important every precious moment is together.

Not to mention the Stayclip doesn’t get buried in a drawer or box, but instead mounts easily in the closet next to dress shirts. Plainly visible are the monograms and/or messages on the collar stays. It serves not only as a reminder to use collar stays, but also a wonderful opportunity to put a smile on his face with a private message!

It’s no wonder why Stayclip is the leading producer of collar stays for men. It’s a brand that has been built on nearly 10 years of customer loyalty and love for the dress shirt. Stayclip collar stays make dress shirts more enjoyable.
